The Timber Maze has replaced a smaller children's maze.
It opened in September 2008 after a 3 month construction period.
Mum & Dad can either enter with the children or watch them from the outside. The Timber Maze was designed to be see through so Mum & Dad can keep a close watch on the little ones at all times, and this has proven to be a winner with both the children and parents alike.

There's some pretty fierce competition some days and also some interesting new rules if you are losing apparently or so I am told {of course there is never any cheating!}
The Chess Pieces are all made of timber, the king is 700mm high and they shrink down to the pawns at 300mm high.

Everyone loves Mini Golf & ours has some difficult holes, only nine holes so why not make it hard? Humps, bumps & oh yeah out of level - both length ways and even some side ways.
Obstacles everywhere you look, but great fun, even Nan & Pop can play this one {& there are smiles all round once they are finished}. Did we mention tough competition, even with Mums & Dads - the score card becomes vital evidence after the game. |

The Gardens suffer Stanthorpes harsh climate, hot dry summers and freezing frosty winters. Only the toughest plant varieties can survive {plants that can't survive get replaced with whatever can!}.
The result after 10 years are gardens that don't need watering, can take the extremes of the temperature and has something in flower at any time of the year. There is a diverse range of plants from many parts of the world on the property. There is no particular garden theme... if it can survive we'll have it! |
